The RRB Secunderabad has to do the recruitment for the region consisting of Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Guntur, Guntakal, Nanded Division and the Head Quarter of South Central Railway. Its jurisdiction also includes the Vishakhapatnam Division in the East Coast Railway.
The working of the Secunderabad RRB is headed by Chairman and he is assisted by a Member Secretary and Assistant Secretary along with a team of Group C & D staff working on weekdays. Method of Selection

The process includes only written examination as the interview round has been mostly done away except for a few specific posts. The exams are objective type based and have negative markings as well. The syllabus is commensurate with the described qualification for the particular posts. The exams are to test General Knowledge, Reasoning/ Analytical Abilities in technical subjects. The language proficiency is also tested for some posts.
