Brief Introduction:

Railway Recruitment Board Gorakhpur was set up in the year 1984 and belongs to the North-Eastern Railways. It was established with the main objective of recruiting the staff for Group C and Group D category. The divisions which fall under the Railway Recruitment Board Gorakhpur are Varanasi Division, Izzatnagar Division and Lucknow Division. The Railway Recruitment Board Gorakhpur was set up in the year 1984 and initially it along with the Railway Recruitment Board Muzaffarpur was meeting the needs of the North Eastern Railways. In the year 1988, all Railway Recruitment Boards came under the regulation of RRCB (or the Railway Recruitment Control Board) which was established by the Ministry of Railways, New Delhi to streamline and coordinate the working of all Railway Recruitment Boards and Cells.
