When such advertisements are posted by respective boards, interested candidates should submit their applications, provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria.

  • To manage the recruitment in Group C, recruitment is done by the 20 RRBs which are set up in different parts of the country, to cater to the personnel selection in the 17 railway zones.
  • For the post of Ticket Collectors, candidates need to be within the age limit of 18 to 27 years, with 12th pass for educational qualification in any discipline.
  • To become eligible for the recruitment, candidates will have to sit for the written exams, conducted by the RRBs in centres of respective jurisdictions. In this written round, there are questions from general awareness, mathematics, general knowledge and aptitude, which basically is designed to test the conclusion drawing and reasoning abilities of the candidates.
  • After the written exam, the qualified candidates are required to go through an interview round and then appear in the medical interview. It is only after clearing all the levels, the ticket collector jobs in India can be availed in the Indian Railways.
  • The pay scale is also quite good for these posts, along with various other benefits like gratuity, medical allowances, provident funds and various other schemes, which make the jobs quite prospective, in terms of jobs in the government sector.

Senior Assistant (Accounts)- The candidates must have completed B.Com Degree with minimum 505 marks, and must be conversant with working in computerised environment.

Stenographer (Grade-I)- The candidates must have completed Bachelors Degree in any discipline. They should have passed a course/ exam of Stenography/ Secretarial Practice with a Stenography/Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute in English and Typing Speed of 40 words per minute. They are desired to have additional qualification in Hindi Stenography. Knowledge of Computer Operation is essential for all candidates.

Assistant Supervisor (P&A)- The candidates must have completed Bachelors Degree in any discipline with minimum 505 marks, and must be conversant with working in computerised environment. Candidates must have minimum four years of relevant experience.

OR; The candidates must have completed Bachelors Degree in any discipline with minimum 505 marks, and must be conversant with working in computerised environment. Candidates should have two years PG Diploma in HRM/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations with minimum 50% marks, with two years of relevant experience.

Nature of Job: Contractual for a period od two years, and extendable depending upon the project requirements and performance of the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification– Candidate must have qualified in the GATE 2015. Candidates should have full time regular bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60 percent marks from recognized Governamnr Universities or Institutions.

Upper Age Limit– 30 years as on 01-Jul-2015. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
